After a first part of his career touring the national stages
and internationally as a violinist, Edouard-Axel Moubachir
trained in conducting in New York and Paris with the
Maestro Mark Shapiro, professor at the Julliard School in New York and within the European American Musical Alliance (EAMA).

He notably conducted the Fort Green Orchestra in New York.

Through a detailed analysis of the musical text, Edouard-Axel         Moubachir
constantly wishes to extract fullness and subtlety. Especially,
he focuses on shaping timbres and sound colors, as well as
than a respect for the most sensitive phrasing.

Driven by this deep desire for transmission, he founded the Ensemble
Monceau of which he is the musical and artistic director. An orchestra ranging from chamber to symphonic, it is made up of passionate       musicians eager to deepen the orchestral repertoire.

Since 2014, he has also been “Senior Coordinator for Instrumental
projects “ within the European American Musical Alliance summer
program.
