Founded and led by Edouard-Axel Moubachir, the Ensemble Monceau is
conceived as a space of rigor, deep exploration of the repertoire
and collective momentum.

From symphony orchestra to string ensemble and chamber orchestra,
it presents four to five programs per season, bringing together
musicians united by a shared pursuit: stylistic precision, sonic
coherence, expressive intensity.

In 2026, the Ensemble Monceau was chosen by the European American
Musical Alliance (EAMA) as the Instrumental Conducting Lab Ensemble
of its conducting program — a recognition of its ensemble culture
and quality of listening, placed at the service of young conductors'
training.
